Description |
The fifth, and final, critical ingredient of our well-being is achievement; those things in life that we want to be, do, create, experience or have as a result of our efforts.
Like the other domains of PERMA, it is important to examine the achievement path that we are on. Is it, in fact, a vision that we’ve looked at recently? Or are we being driven by what we believe others think is important? Achievement, like happiness, is one of the domains of PERMA that can be routinely pursued at the expense of the others. The Theory of Well-being tells us that the five domains of PERMA are all relevant to our well-being and that the way in which we invest ourselves across the domains needs to be in the right relationship.
This webinar provides the theoretical explanation as to why an achievement-oriented life is so compelling and explores Goal Setting Theory, the link between values and achievements, and the connection of the flow state to the achievements that we choose to pursue.
This P.link webinar also includes a live demonstration of the P.link self-coaching tools Bold Future, Knowing What You Want, and Asking for What You Need. A set of coaching techniques designed to facilitate the creation of a modern day vision and an action plan for making it real. |
